Hope mediation provides a range of direct client work,

independent mediation, training and mediation practice supervision.

Hope Mediation was set up in 2004 in response to an increase in demand for peer mediation training, support and supervision and mediation for other types of family relationship problems and disputes where family breakup was not the issue.

Mediation
  • is a structured process in which a neutral third party assists voluntary participants to resolve their disputes.
  • works best when the people in conflict want to work together to reach a solution.
  • is often described as a win win process. Mediation works in family breakup situations where parents have to talk about the future needs of their children. This may also involve stepparents, young people and grandparents.
  • can help with family disputes of all kinds and in large family situations may involve two mediators
  • can be used before, during and after all kinds of family transitions.
